My Jaw is still tense and locked from this :Again you offer no argument. Zionism is an unavoidably racialist doctrine. It makes no contingency for the people already living in the 'romised land', and presumes the favoured status and manifest destiny of the Jewish race. There is nothing special about being a Jew, in fact. It is an accident of birth. It is nothing to be ashamed of and nothing to be proud of. You should not be attacked on account of it, but equally it does not give you licence to trample over other peoples. You are not a chosen person, just a person. Zionism is the world's problem as it provide's one of the leading causes of conflict in the world, and is the main fuel of wider Muslim resentment. It fuels the cause of the terrorists, especially when the Zionists act with such arrogance, and brutalty. Especially when they disregard international law and deploy excessive force as a matter of course. Witness the hundred or so UN resolutions critical of Israel.

Interesting comments.

What I think people forget (or choose to ignore) is that the problem between Israel and the neighbouring nations that oppose her are a matter of borders that Europeans determined, just like in Africa. So many conflicts of national and ethnic identity in Africa were borne out of Europeans dividing up land based not on ethnic/cultural boundaries, but just basically by drawing lines on a map. And yet no one in the West seems to have a problem with how Africa was divided up, so why is Israel such an issue? Israel's existence is perfectly in line with international law, and Israel has tried to accommodate even those who want her gone, from what I have heard.

I wish I knew more about all these things; it's such an interesting history.
